Alcohol was prohibited in 1913 under the 18th Amendment. As a result, the Mafia became rich and powerful. Violence abounded. Until the 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment.
Drugs are illegal. Drug Cartels are rich and powerful. Violence abounds.
Some of us would amend the Constitution to make possession of firearms unlawful. I can't help but wonder. Who will gain riches and power from that?
