EARN CREDIT AS A STUDENT ADVOCATE

Columbia County students can earn elective credit by attending classes Tue., Wed., and Thur. after school from 4:00 - 6:30pm in St. Helens at Columbia County Education Campus.
 

Highschool student in St. Helens can earn elective credit as participants in the program. Students must attend afterschool sessions three times a week from 4-6:30 pm

BECOME A SAFE CAMP MENTOR

The SAFE project sponsors an annual week long camp for foster children. Safe student participants may become mentors to these children upon completion of training.
 

 

BECOME A MENTOR

  • Be a teen help line peer counselor
  • Be a chatroom monitor in a "cyber support group"
  • Co-present with Women's Resource Center in Columbia County Classrooms
  • Mentor younger children who have lived with violence
