Greetings! Thanks for visiting my web site. I hope you find something of interest here. Be sure to check out my first book, Crumbs in the Keyboard, now available at www.echelonpress.com and other online bookstores, as well as your local bookstore (you may have to request it).
I will have my first book signing December 9!
Also take a peek at my historical romance novels, which are on the desk of an editor in New York and awaiting a YES! at long last.
Life is going great for me right now. Besides writing and reading romance, I enjoy science and history and anything on the History or Discovery channels or BBC America. I love to decorate cakes and make candies, and yes, I am a fan (reluctantly) of Martha Stewart. I enjoy cross-stitch, crochet and knitting, and I have about a dozen other sewing projects going at once. (Doesn't every crafter?) I just finished a large crocheted blanket, and wrote my 80th article on gardening.
I am a certified Master Gardener™ through Oregon State University Extension and volunteer in my community to give advice on home horticulture. I give occasional presentations on composting and orchid growing, and hybridize my own iris varieties. I have a love/hate relationship with my yard, which you will see when you read my monthly column, "That's the Way it Grows."
I hope you come back often to read my articles, and I REALLY hope that I will soon announce the sale and release date of my first fiction novel. Keep checking back, sign my guest book for announcements, and keep your fingers crossed for me!
Thanks and Best Wishes, Lisa
