Some of Our Activities:

1.  Community projects

This CPT takes an active role in coordinating projects for the community.  Such projects involve a variety of community partners, and the combined resources of  one or more state or county agencies.  Mentorship programs, safe kids day, teen pregnancy prevention, and respite care are just a few of the projects in Columbia County that involved the CPT.

Partners involved:  Our community activities include partners from almost every organization a in the County.  For instance, service organizations such as the Kiwanis volunteer to be youth mentor's, while local agencies provide funding for AmeriCorp RAPP members.  Local churches coordinate with the respite care director to provide services, while fire,  police, recreation and social service agencies combined efforts to promote child safety at Safe Kids Day.  In addition, the CPT is an active member of the Human Services Coalition of Columbia County, as well as sitting on several local boards serving the interests of children, seniors and the developmentally disabled.
