The Barnstormer Inn, located by the Airport, was decorated Independence Day style, thanks to the West Linn Riverview Lions Club. They did a beautiful job which encouraged the festive atmosphere. All preparations done, the members were ready for a night of fellowship with others who share the value of Community Participation. Lion Brenda Wilkinson, District Governor Elect, acted as MC for the affair. An overwhelming amount of gifts were donated to the club to be raffled off.

The word went out in the Lion World fast that this Charter Night was one of the best in a long time. Fellow Lions from as far as Eugene, Oregon came to celebrate the induction of the initial 22 members.
